Advanced Engineering show enjoys record attendance

UK Tech Events, organisers of the Advanced Engineering group of shows held 7-8 November 2012 at the NEC, Birmingham, have announced a record number of attendees for the show, with a 35 percent increase in attendance levels over the previous year.

According to the organisers, the group of events enjoyed a record two-day attendance exceeding 9000. Visitors are said to have included all levels of engineering, procurement, and management from the UK’s OEMs and supply chain partners, with particular representation from the aerospace, automotive, motorsport, and marine sectors.

UK Tech Events said the event benefitted from strong industry engagement plus success of the inaugural Automotive Engineering show. Presentations from speakers from across the exhibiting industries were said to be popular with attendees.

The show is due to return in 2013, with UK Tech Events stating it hopes to present a larger group of events, with an expected 600+ exhibiting supply chain partners and even more opportunities for the supply chain to gain new business opportunities within the UK’s high value, high growth manufacturing sectors.

The Advanced Engineering group of shows will take place from 12-12 November 2013 at the NEC, Birmingham.
