New developments in plastics welding: a technology showcase

The latest advancements in plastics welding will be unveiled this autumn at a one-day seminar, featuring demonstrations on new laser and ultrasonic welding machines.

Research and technology company, TWI, is partnering with plastics welding specialists, Branson, to put on a technical group meeting under the theme ‘New developments in plastics welding’, which will be held in TWI’s newly built, £43 million facilities at its Cambridgeshire base on Wednesday 2 December.

As well as featuring demonstrations on new laser and ultrasonic welding machines from Branson, the event will also include a demonstration of micro friction stir welding for plastics from TWI and presentations from leading lights in the field of plastics welding.
