Numbers continue to grow for Chinaplas 2013

The organisers of Chinaplas have announced that they have received over 2,600 applications for stands at the 2013 exhibition.

Companies already signed up to exhibit at the four-day show are said to include chemicals and raw materials suppliers, machinery manufacturers as well as mould and die suppliers.

The theme for 2013 is ‘The Future of Plastics and Rubber’ and the show will feature two creative projects, one demonstrating the low energy consumption concept of plastic and rubber building materials and the other inviting students from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts to design an innovative chair by using plastic and rubber materials such as film, tubes, rubber and plastic bottles. The resulting art-piece will be displayed in some of the halls during the show.

Chinaplas 2013 will host two professional conferences, ‘The 5th China International Conference on Bioplastic Application’ and ‘China International Quality Partnership and Social Responsibility in Plastics Processing’. More than 70 technical seminars will be held during the show period, which offer a valuable platform for technological discussions surrounding the industry.

Chinaplas will take place from 20-13 May 2013 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, Guangzhou, China.
