Interplas conference line-up to help deliver ‘more profit from plastics’

by

How to get ‘more profit from plastics’ will be revealed at Interplas 2014, via a comprehensive line-up of speakers in the ‘RAPRA’ conference session, announced today.

The RAPRA technical session is set to include a comprehensive line-up of some of the plastics industry’s most experienced speakers, delivering information on technological developments, process improvements and human resource enhancement opportunities that will help visitors, cost effectively, make ‘profit from plastics’.

“Gaining and more importantly, keeping your commercial advantage in a tough global market requires an ongoing, significant investment of time, effort and of course, money. This series of presentations will help you do that most effectively,” commented Steve Shaw, Executive Director at RAPRA.

The line up includes keynote, Simon Canfer, Composites Group Leader at the Science & Technology Facilities Council (STFC), who will deliver a paper detailing how plastic materials provide solutions for the challenges of ‘Big Science’ and how the plastics industry can help.

In addition, Gary Howe, Founder and Managing Director of iPolyTech, will present on ‘Predicting failure and designing for long term performance’; Beth Dean, Fire Scientist, Exova Warringtonfire Europe will look at ‘New Reaction to Fire Testing Requirements for Materials on Trains’; and John Goff, CEO, G&A Moulding Technology will advise visitors on ‘Improving reliability and performance of the human resource (the true “competitive advantage”)’.

The RAPRA session, which is completely free of charge for visitors to attend, is taking place on Tuesday 30th September at 1.30pm. To see the other confirmed presenters and speakers across the three days of the show, click here.
