Interplas to play ‘host’ to new website offering
Thermoplastic raw materials distributor, Plastribution, is using its appearance at Interplas as a platform to introduce visitors to its refreshed website.
The company, who moved to new office premises earlier this year, says the new format provides users with a “much improved” navigation and browsing experience, making it easier to find products, services or information.
“Refreshing our site shows that we take our communication output seriously,” explained Plastribution’s Managing Director, Mike Boswell. “Updating our website has given us an opportunity to refresh the visual impact of our brand and, in turn, influence how we are perceived across the industry.”
Screenshots of the new website will be shown on the Plastribution stand at Interplas and sales representatives will be on-hand to provide visitors with a insight into the portal’s key features, as well as demonstrating their expertise and knowledge across a number of industry sectors.
One such area, automotives, can be discussed with Technical Manager, Dan Jarvis, who will be presenting a paper during the ‘Plastics in Automotives’ seminar stream at 2.30pm on Wednesday 1st October (location A90).
Jarvis’ presentation will explore the recent developments in plastics for use in automotive components, aiming to show how polymers are enabling vehicle manufactures to produce cars with lower emissions, better fuel economy and lower volatiles whilst also meeting new legislations, all at lower cost.
The specific areas and materials being covered include high temperature Radici nylon (metal replacement at competitive cost); low volatile POM (volatiles emission regulations); and PMMA (replacing painting processes, reduction in LED / power source via transmission technology).
Plastribution is also inviting visitors to its booth for a coffee and a browse through its latest ‘Know-how’ publication, which includes informative articles, case studies and technical updates.
