Kautex Maschinenbau presents third generation extrusion blow moulding machine

Kautex Maschinenbau is presenting the third generation of its KCC series of extrusion blow moulding machines at CHINAPLAS 2016. 

The new blow moulding machine model, which was announced at the company’s Open House event in October last year, represents a complete relaunch of the KCC series.

As well as a number of new and revised technical features, the machine has also been completely redesigned, including visual changes in keeping with the company’s ‘new look’ for its machines.

With its compact form, the new KCC generation takes up less floor space in the production hall, says Kautex. Better accessibility not only makes the blow moulding machine easier to service, it added, but also speeds up any retrofitting work. Moulds can now be changed from the side, for example, and products are discharged from the rear of the machine. Greater use of standard modules and components has reduced the investment costs of the new machine and shortened future delivery times.

“We offer KCC machines for all kinds of consumer and industrial packaging applications as well as for the automotive sector. This high degree of flexibility is precisely why this machine series has enjoyed continued success for almost twenty years,” said Mark Lueddecke, Vice President of Kautex Maschinenbau in Shunde, China.

In addition to its KCC model, Kautex Maschinenbau is also unveiling its new KSB suction blow moulding machine at CHINAPLAS. This brand new machine type was specially designed for low-waste production of 3D moulded parts.

The new KSB has a modern operating concept thanks to the Kautex BC5 controller, which the makes machines easy to operate. In addition, the new suction blow moulding machine takes up almost 50 percent less space than previous equipment, says Kautex, thus reducing investment costs.
