New product blows hot and cold at Interplas
Specialist supplier of ancillary equipment to the plastics processing industry, Intellicare, will demonstrate a new temperature control unit as the focal point of its stand at Interplas.
The HC Unit – Combined Hot and Cold Temperature Control – integrates both cooling and heating within a single compact unit. Precise three-way modulating valves are said to allow control of one, two or three fully independent process circuits within the temperature range of +10°C up to +90°C.
Intellicare says visitors will see how the cooling phase is performed by a refrigeration system utilising ecological gas R407C with long life hermetically sealed compressors. Condensation cooling is by tower water, which the company says eliminates heat, noise and draughts inside the factory. Cooling capacities range from 9.9kW to 110kW and heating power from 6 + 6 up to 24 + 24 kW.
In addition, Intellicare will display graphics and exhibits to demonstrate its diverse range of hopper loaders, dryers, dosing units, granulators, conveyors plus storage and mixing, temperature control units, chillers and coolers, with experts being on-hand to provide customer support for advice and assistance on equipment selection, application and installation.
