Verstraete IML demonstrated at five booths at CHINAPLAS

Manufacturer of in mould labels (IML) for the plastics industry, Verstraete, says CHINAPLAS is an “excellent opportunity” to see what the market is doing on the other side of the world.

The company has products on the booths of five partner companies at the show, including four major injection moulding machinery manufacturers.

“Chinaplas is one of the leading platforms for the IML industry in Asia, with visitors and exhibitors from all over the world,” said Bart Schatteman, Regional Business Development Manager – Asia from Verstraete IML.

“I used to call it ‘the Chinese K-show’. It is an excellent opportunity to see what the IML market is doing ‘on the other side of the world.”

Verstraete products are located on the following booths:

Engel is showing a 200ml round bowl together with mould maker, CNN, and automation producer, Jet Engine. The bowl will be decorated with an orange peel wrap-around IML label. (booth E3 E01)

The Taiwanese machine producer, Jon Wai Machinery, joined forces with mould producer, SCS, and automation supplier, Jet Engine. It is demonstrating a margarine tub with 5-sided orange peel IML label. (booth E6 C41)

Demag is presenting a biodegradable tub and lid. Both will be decorated with a biodegradable IML label. The partners for this project are JT Mold and Wellih Automation. (booth E3 J01)

Arburg is showing a 2-cavity rectangular tub with a 5-sided orange peel IML label. The mould is produced by Pass Card and the automation by Wetec. (booth E1 G01)

Ferromatik Milacron, Pass Card and Wetec will show a 4-cavity 250ml round yoghurt tub, decorated with an orange peel label. (booth E2 D21)
