BPF starts Mexican Wave at Plastimagen

by

The British Plastics Federation (BPF) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the national Mexican Plastics Association (ANIPAC) in a bid to make it easier for its member firms to do business in the country.

The Memorandum to promote co-operation between the two associations came as result of the BPF’s first-ever attendance at the Plastimagen trade show, held recently in Mexico City (November 18-21).

“The Mexican market is buoyant with packaging, automotive,

healthcare and recycling as specific poles of growth,” explained Philip Law, Director General of the BPF. “Some veteran BPF exporters, such as Aerogen and Formech, are already on the ground here and the Memorandum will help us to develop a platform for which BPF member firms will be able to develop business in Mexico with relative ease.”

The Memorandum was signed by Law, as well as Martha Griselda Alva de la Selva, the Director General of ANIPAC together with Francisco de Caso  Peláez, ANIPAC’s President.
