Broadway undertakes further expansion of masterbatch facility as investment drive continues

Broadway Colours has invested in an additional twin-screw extrusion line and larger mixing unit for its masterbatch facility in order to produce larger orders more quickly and efficiently.

The investment by the Suffolk-based company, which specialises in producing custom colour masterbatch and rotational moulding powders, follows the installation of new equipment and technology for its grinding facility earlier this year.

In addition, Broadway has also radically revamped its indexing system to include a second, brand new spectrophotometer. It says this extra machine enhances its QC procedures, which are certified to ISO9001. 

 “It’s great to see how much the company has grown in the past couple of years,” commented Matthew Hennessey, Broadway’s Business Development Manager.
