Engel UK reveals new Technical Director

Engel UK’s former Service Manager is returning to its Warwick headquarters on 1st June to take up the role of Technical Director.

Tony (Taff) Borthwick left Engel’s UK subsidiary eight years ago to join its parent company in St Valentin, Austria.

“This appointment is perfect for Engel UK, and for our customers,” commented Managing Director, Graeme Herlihy.

“Having spent those years in Austria, Taff speaks fluent German and knows all the systems and the people in our parent company.  Sometimes when immediate support is needed, it’s that kind of inside knowledge that can make all the difference.”

Engel UK has also announced the promotion of Emma Hastie to the position of Financial Director.

“We had the same management structure at Engel UK 10 years ago when the company had one quarter of our current sales,” Herlihy added. “These two new directorships are definitely appropriate, given the size of business we are now.”
