K 2013: The ‘Great Mini’ revs up support for UK’s contribution to automotive plastics

This not so subtly branded Mini has been spotted at K 2013 to fly the flag for the UK in a celebration of the industry’s contribution to the automotive industry.

Companies including Axion Polymers, Barkley Plastics and Albis all deliver raw materials or produce plastic parts in Great Britain, which are then built into the Mini, contributing to making the cars lighter and lowering fuel consumption.

Posing for the camera: (L-R) are: Keith Freegard (Axion Polymers), Werner Matthias Dornscheidt (CEO Messe Duesseldorf), Susan Speller (Consul General), Justyna Elliot (British Plastics Federation) and Ian Mills (Albis UK).
