MGS launches adds quick-cook range to British-made plastic housewares offering

Plastic injection moulder, MGS Technical Plastics, has launched a new line of microwavable cookware that it says reduces cooking times and requires two-third less power to heat.

Made of a clear and stain-free polycarbonate material, the new ‘Microware’ range of containers will initially be available wholesale to retailers and include an egg poacher, casserole dish, fish steamer, universal steamer, plate cover, lidded saucepan and multipurpose tray.

Blackburn-based MGS Technical Plastics is a rapidly growing UK business, which has invested more than £2m in developing and improving product lines in recent years.

Neil Garrity, Manufacturing Director, said the new product range “flies the flag” for British Manufacturing.

“The products are incredibly energy efficient and have been designed and crafted to an exceptional level of quality,” he commented. "We are plastics specialists with decades of experience and we have poured everything we know into creating the Microware range. We are very proud of the results and are delighted to add to our ‘Made in Britain' line."
