New appointment to help PVC recycler meet demand

VEKA Recycling Ltd has appointed a new Business Development Manager in order to help satisfy the growing demand from UK manufacturers for recycled PVC pellet.

David Wiltshire has joined the company and will be responsible for selling PVC-U pellet and pulver derived from post-industrial or post-consumer window frame material. His appointment follows significant investment by the Kent-based PVC recycler in a new compounding line and further collection facilities for PVC frames at a second recycling centre in Birmingham.

“We pride ourselves in offering a dependable service for window and waste companies to ensure waste PVC is diverted from landfill. By working with them to reduce contamination levels, we can improve the value of new products, such as windows, made with recycled material,” said Wiltshire.

“Demand is growing from a wide range of manufacturers in the UK seeking a reliable continuation of supply for top-grade recycled PVC pellet, which we can offer from a genuine closed-loop recycling source.”

VEKA Recycling says its investment in both personnel and its UK processing capacity underlines commitment to growth and meeting demand for intelligent and sustainable use of recyclate in all types of new goods, such as building, roofline and cabling/ducting products.
