New Business Development Manager at UK Thermoforming specialist

Thermoforming specialist, Cox Wokingham Plastics Ltd (CWPL), has has appointed a new Business Development Manager in order to expand into new sectors.

Helen Wilde, who has a background in mechanical engineering and plastics, joins the company, located in Wokingham, Berkshire, at an exciting time in the company’s development. It has recently invested £180,000 in a new 5-axis CNC machine, expanding CWPL’s machining capabilities by 15 percent. 

Wilde will now build on CWPL’s existing customer base featuring automotive, rail and aircraft industries and target new sectors such as design houses and renewable energies. 

“I have been impressed by CWPL’s product offer and the vast experience and expertise of the team.  The company is well positioned to expand into new markets that require very large vacuum forms,” she said.

CWPL has built a reputation for producing high definition mouldings, assembly and machining of components for demanding industries such as rail, aircraft, bus and coach as well as the commercial industrial lighting, medical and automotive sectors.
