New EMEA Regional Director for DuPont Performance Materials

DuPont Performance Materials (DPM) has appointed Rudy van Engen as the new Regional Director for DuPont Performance Materials Europe, Middle East and Africa region (EMEA).

Van Engen, a Dutch national, will take up his new role at DuPont’s European Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland with immediate effect.

Engen has more than twenty years experience working in the plastics and rubber industry and will now be responsible for driving forward DPM’s organisation in EMEA.

He commented: “These are exciting times for DPM with many innovative plans in the pipeline. I look forward to working with a team of inspiring and dedicated people in our EMEA region and to continue offering solutions that have a positive impact on our customers’ business.”

Engen started his career in the plastics division at Dow Chemical in 1994, before joining DuPont Dow Elastomers in 1996, where he served in various sales, regional product management and global business management roles.

In 2005, he joined DuPont and held several regional and global business management positions across different DuPont Business Units and corporate projects in Europe and North America. Most recently, he was Regional Sales Manager Central and Eastern Europe at DuPont Performance Polymers in 2014.
