New Sales Manager at Broadwater Mouldings as company looks to new markets

Composites manufacturer, Broadwater Mouldings, has announced the appointment of a new Sales Manager as it looks to build on recent growth.

James Cushing joins the Suffolk-based company, which specialises in supplying fibre reinforced plastics (FRP) and FRP assemblies, in a role that will see him progressing its product and client base.

The business has grown through recent years to a turnover of £10.5m, in the process creating what it describes as “new and exciting opportunities” for its diverse portfolio of customers in the UK, Europe and worldwide.

“I am delighted to be joining this forward-thinking and progressive company. I live close to the manufacturing plant and have seen the expansion during recent years,” explained Cushing.

“I look forward to progressing that expansion with both innovation and quality customer service. The team here at Broadwater Mouldings have welcomed me and passed on their expertise, and their support will be invaluable going forward.”

Cushing takes over sales responsibilities from Vince Mortlock, who moves to a new position as Head of Business Development and Engineering. Within this role he will be looking to move the company into new markets outside of the medical, transportation, automotive, industrial and marine sectors it already supplies.
