Par-Pak Europe acquires Deltaform Group

Par-Pak Europe Ltd, the UK division of the Waddington Group, has acquired Deltaform Ltd and its subsidiary, Chiltern Thermoforming. 

Deltaform and Chiltern Thermoforming are leading independent manufacturers of rigid packaging for the UK food industry known for their customer service and innovative design. Par-Pak Europe is an extrusion and thermoforming company with two plants, its own plant in Milton Keynes and Holfeld Plastics in Arklow, Ireland, acquired by Par-Pak in September 2014. 

Since the acquisition of Holfeld Plastics in September 2014, the two businesses have been operating under the Waddington Europe banner - Deltaform and Chiltern Thermoforming join the Group at a time when Waddington Europe says it is “poised for significant further European expansion”. 

“The acquisition of both manufacturers greatly reinforces the Waddington Europe brand enabling an appreciably accelerated growth and expansion into new and exciting markets in both the UK and Europe,” said Kevin Ingram, Managing Director of Par-Pak Europe in a statement. “The companies offer complimentary products and will be able to bring an exciting breadth of products to a vastly extended customer base offering shared values, expertise and customer knowledge.

Ingram added that the combined product ranges and merged technical resources would serve the needs of the Waddington Europe Group’s existing and new markets.
