PRSE Show cancelled following Brussels attacks

by

The Plastics Recycling Show Europe (PRSE) has been cancelled following the serious terror attacks that took place in Brussels this morning (22nd March).

It is the second time the event has been affected by security alerts in the city, having been postponed once already from its original dates in November 2015.

The rescheduled show was due to be held in Brussels Expo from 22nd-23rd March, with more than 65 companies and organisations due to be involved.

However, after bomb attacks at Brussels’ Zaventem airport and Maelbeek metro station are reported to have killed and injured “scores” of people (exact numbers not confirmed at time of publication), the event has been cancelled.

In a statement, Crain Communications, show organiser, said: “The safety and security of our exhibitors, visitors, staff and suppliers remains our absolute priority.

"The situation in Brussels remains fluid and we will provide further updates as and when.”
