DKL Rubber, a well-established company that provides high specification rubber mouldings, is looking to grow its operations and said that joining RAPRA will provide the company with benefits that will enable it to grow.

“The benefits of being a member of RAPRA is that we are part of an industry association that is recognised throughout as being the ‘place to go’ for rubber and plastics,” commented Robert Oakes, Operations Director at DKL Rubber. “We feel that DKL has a lot to offer other members and customers looking for technical solutions in rubber, as well as using RAPRA’s facilities and network to help develop our own business and assist where we cannot provide the solution ourselves.”

DKL Rubber is typically focused on low volume specialist applications with complex rubber compound specifications, delivered by compression moulding, transfer moulding and rubber to metal bonding and have developed a reputation for excellences in production of parts for use in applications diverse as nuclear submarines, electricity pylons, classic cars and automated milking parlours.

Becoming a member of RAPRA will afford DKL Rubber with benefits such as access to technical papers from industry and universities, access to webinars, links with other trade associations, presentation papers form previous polymer steering group meetings, attendance at exhibitions utilising RAPRA’s stand to display company literature, the opportunity to deliver technical presentations at major trade shows, reduced rates at non RAPRA seminars and more.

As well as joining RAPRA as a member, DKL Rubber also stands to benefit commercially by complementing its existing Preferred Supplier/Providers Network.

“I am extremely pleased to welcome DKL into RAPRA membership. We view them joining RAPRA very much as further evidence showing clear recognition by industry of the real value that our services can deliver,” said Steve Shaw, Executive Director at RAPRA. “DKL is entering an exciting period of business development and growth and I am confident that we can contribute positively to help them meet their goals.”
