SABIC upgrades materials app to include complete European Polyolefins portfolio
SABIC has upgraded its App for mobile devices to incorporate its entire Polyolefins portfolio across Europe.
‘SABIC Polyolefin Product Finder’ combines powerful analysis tools and product information, helping users match the right material solution to meet their needs.
One of the first and few in the industry to offer such a tool to the polyolefins industry, SABIC says the App allows it to connect and do business with customers beyond its website and on mobile technology, an increasingly important platform.
Through the App, customers can find whichever product solution they are looking for. A ‘one stop shop’, SABIC says the App is intuitive, with users able to search via market segment, end application or technical information.
"SABIC European Plastics Finder was our first App in the polypropylene marketplace and we are very pleased to upgrade it so that it incorporates our entire Polyolefins portfolio across Europe,” commented Mark Vester, European Business Unit Director LL/LDPE for SABIC.
“Based on user experience so far, we know that this is a great tool for both our existing and potential customers and is another step we are taking to ensure we are being as innovative as possible in the market.”
This enhanced App is launched next to the SABIC App available for SABIC’s engineering thermoplastics portfolio, which completes the company’s plastics’ portfolio in Europe.
The App has built-in technology that will allow users to search for in-depth information about Polyethylene and Polypropylene grades within the building and construction, consumer products, flexible- and rigid packaging, healthcare, mobility and transport industries, film and fibres.
The App also allows users to forward information to their e-mail account and gives them easy access to the key features of the SABIC website on their mobile or tablet device.
The App is available to download free from the Apple and Google Play Store for both iOS, Android and Windows devices.
