Santa and reindeer land in London, with help from 700,000 LEGO bricks

Following a festive tradition that has seen a giant advent calendar, Christmas tree and walk-through snow globe, this year’s LEGO spectacular sees Santa and his reindeer land in London’s Covent Garden.

With the help of some 700,000 bricks, 30 days of build and the meticulous eye of certified LEGO professional, Duncan Titmarsh, the display is located on the North East Piazza until 29th December.

The creation, which has space for visitors to sit alongside Santa in his sleigh and have photographs taken, is one of many produced by Titmarsh for the 2014 festive season, including Christmas trees in Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
