300 is magic number for Renmar

Plastics industry machinery supplier, Renmar, has revealed it has sold over three hundred of its best-selling mould heaters in the last two years.

The Northamptonshire-based company is distributor for the AEC range of mould heaters, the two principle products being the TCU and VCU models.

The TCU models, says Renmar, provide “highly accurate control” for moulding machines that need a continuous supply of temperature-controlled water unto a maximum of 150 degrees Celsius and with a heating capacity of between 9 and 35 kw.

The TCU standard model comes equipped with flow and pressure gauges, which is the only difference between it and the budget VCU model.

Dublin-based Tech Group has purchased over sixty bespoke AEC mould heaters over the past five years.

Commenting on their performance, Stephen O’Donoghue, Tech Group’s Maintenance Leader, said: “The reason behind us running with the…mould heaters is very simple; whatever we ask for - even to the point where we will specify Loctite rather than tape for threaded couplings - is delivered.”
