Kongskilde's Industrial Division enjoys strong growth in Q1

by

Kongskilde has announced its Industrial Division enjoyed a "broad-based growth" in the company's eight largest markets in the first quarter of the year.

The company started 2015 with a 20 percent increase in turnover in the division, which specialises in handling process waste in the plastics and paper industries.

"Intensive product developments and progressive sales efforts are the main reasons for this significant growth," commented Ole Gade, Managing Director of Kongskilde Industries A/G.

Gade said he expected the growth to continue, in part due to the company's new 'Compact Vacuum Loader' solution (CVL), which lifts small plastic components in order to quickly transport them away from an injection moulding machine, replacing the need for conveyor belts or manual transport in boxes.

Kongskilde says positive test results from use of the CVL within the factory of a major American manufacturer of plastic components has only served to strengthen the marketing of the product, adding that it also received "triple digit" numbers of enquiries about the technology when exhibiting at the 'ICE' exhibition in Munich recently.

The company says it is confident about the CVL's long-term development, stating the combination of the component lifting technology and the use of stainless steel will "ensure a breakthrough in solutions" for the food and pharma industries.
