Blagden appointed distributor for ECKART in UK and Ireland

Blagden Speciality Chemicals has been appointed the distributor for the ECKART range of metallic and effect pigments in the UK and Ireland, with effect from 1st August 2016.

ECKART’s products are used within the paints and coatings industry, the printing industry and the plastics and lightweight concrete industries. ECKART is a division of global speciality chemicals leader, ALTANA.

Blagden Specialty Chemicals is a chemical supplier across UK and Irish industrial markets. The company has been the distributor for ALTANA’s BYK division for many years, and focuses on sectors including coatings, plastics and other industries.

The implementation of this new business model by ECKART comes as a result of a strategic review of its existing and future market position.
