New masterbatch tablets reportedly offer 'special effects'

New ‘special effect’ masterbatch tablets have been announced by ADDmix, and are immediately available.

The tablets apparently offer users the ability to apply affects during injection moulding, extrusion and extrusion blow moulding.

Rafael Kilim, ADDmix Director said: “Using large sized masterbatch tablets is a revolutionary approach to achieving special effects. Its development is part of the ADDmix Company’s continued contribution to the plastic moulding industry.”

He added: “Mixing a combination of the large masterbatch tablets with the raw materials without the need for any dosing equipment will deliver a consistently random effect on the moulded product. For precisely repeatable effects, ADDmix can also supply specialist dosing equipment.

“They type of effects that can be achieved include wood, marble, camouflage and multi-coloured.”
