Perspex helps promote the power of taking a break to professionals

by

UK-based bespoke acrylic specialist, Floreeda Fabrications Ltd, has manufactured acrylic aeroplanes for a window display at London’s famous department store, Selfridges.

The planes, made from both Perspex Acrylic and Plaskolite Mirror, were designed and created as part of a campaign by Selfridges to help professionals to take a break and achieve a better work-life balance.

Floreeda used a combination of laser cutting and line bending to create the aeroplanes at its factory in Stockport.

Perspex fluorescent acid green acrylic was used to create the displays alongside mannequins both in windows and on major plinths in store. Silver Plaskolite Mirror was used to create a unique ceiling display casting reflections across the shop floor.
