K2013: Polyolefin additives go on show

by

Milliken is exhibiting a full range of its products and services at K 2013.

The additives supplier says the products offer clarity, aesthetics, productivity improvement, property optimisation and sustainability.

The products also reportedly increase energy efficiency for injection moulded, blow moulded and extruded polyolefin-based applications, while embracing the performance requirements of plastics processors.

Milliken says the range will, as well, promote more sustainable end applications. Allen Jacoby, Business Manager, Plastics Additives said: “Sustainability is a key driver across Milliken’s portfolio.

“Customers using Milliken additives can save material, save energy, save time and save money, all while achieving high quality end products.”

The full list of Milliken products on show at K 2013 is Millad NX 8000 and 8500E clarifying agents for PP; Hyperform HPN 68L, 20E and 600ei nucleating agents for PP; Hyperform HPN-20E for PE and Hyperform HPR 803i reinforcing agent.

Since the last iteration of K Show in 2010, Milliken claims to have been focusing on helping converters to process their polypropylenes at lower temperatures to save energy and achieve sustainability targets.
