Zotefoams launches new packaging grade

Manufacturer of cross-linked block foams, Zotefoams, has launched a new foam grade specifically for the packaging market.

PackaZote is claimed to have a number of properties that make it an economical choice for the packaging market, including less wastage and better application methods.

Zotefoams says PackaZote was developed to fill a gap in the market; a product that can fulfil its application need whilst offering the converter properties including isotropic behaviour, purity, lighter density and less laminations.

Zotefoams’ products are made by a high-pressure nitrogen gas solution process, which is said to produce pure, chemically inert foam without blowing agent residues and with a uniform cell structure and regular cell walls.
