Purchase of a new 3200T injection-moulding machine at Interplas 2011

ARRK Europe Ltd has announced major capital investment at its Tooling and Moulding facility in Petersfield, Hampshire, with the addition of a brand new 3200T injection-moulding machine from Krauss Maffei, purchased at Interplas 2011.

The company states the move is a clear statement of ARRK’s continued growth in the UK and its commitment to providing customers with a range of first class capabilities.

ARRK already operates a 3200T machine at this site, but states that with growing demand, particularly from clients in the aftermarket, the decision to add a second large machine allows the business to support even more clients. The KM 3200 – 33000MX is claimed to be one of the most innovative, large scale, moulding machines on the market, offering the most up-to-date and efficient moulding cycles around. Peter Kite, Plant Operations Manager at Petersfield Technical Centre, added “this is great news for everyone, staff and customers alike.  This new machine makes us ideally placed to support our customers’ needs now and well into the future”. With a list price over a £1 million it is anticipated ARRK will take delivery of its machine in February, becoming fully operational some time in March.

Royden Morgan, General Manager for the site, endorsed Peter’s comments by adding “We are extremely happy to be purchasing one of the very best injection moulding machines available on the market as it fits in with our continued strategy of presenting our customers with the highest quality, efficiency and reliability”.

The announcement coincides with the integration of ARRK’s Tooling and Moulding operation into ARRK Europe Ltd, which was effective as of 1st October. Previously trading as ARRK Tooling Development Ltd, their integration now completes the final stage of combining all of ARRK’s UK operations into a single company.
