The new silos at UCP
Global Closure Systems (GCS) has installed two additional storage silos at its UCP site at Norwich for the production of its child-safe pharmaceutical packaging.
The two latest silos from Barton Fabrications are the latest in a series of more than 10 vessels at its sites across the UK and will be used to provide extra polypropylene and polyethylene granule storage for GCS’ Clic-Loc child-resistant and flip-top dispensing closures.
“We have a successful history with Barton for the supply and installation of a number of our existing silos,” said Mark Turner, Engineering Manager at UCP. “The installations went extremely well and the agreed plan was delivered to the letter. We are very pleased with end result thus far,” he added.
