Perspex and Adidas go together like Bread and Butter

Perspex has been used in a branding opportunity by retail giant, Adidas, in the form of a mammoth 3148 x 3061mm replica logo.

The company’s iconic ‘Trefoil’ logo was recreated by Sign Here, a UK-based sign maker, for use on Adidas’ 520m2 exhibition stand at ‘Bread and Butter’, an international tradeshow for Modern Urban Lifestyle, held in Berlin.

A CNC machine was used to cut into Perspex Opal 050 5mm thick acrylic sheet to create the faces and returns of the logo.

Avery blue translucent vinyls matching the exact colour required were applied to the faces and back trays, with 160 mounted white LED modules to give full illumination to the faces and returns.

Paul Bisikier, Project Manager, Sign Here, commented: “We are particularly proud of this job as it was for an Adidas exhibition stand, and quite often we are tied by client confidentiality. It was a lovely job to make from beginning to end and Perspex has never let us down.”
